Do you come to my home?

Yes. We balance on your driveway, workplace car park or private forecourt. You need firm ground and a safe lift position. We bring the mat, the tooling and the lift kit.

Signs I need balancing?

A steering wheel judder above 50 mph, a vibration through the seat or floor, uneven tread wear, or new tyres that still shake. The symptom checker on this page narrows it down quickly.

Can you balance run-flats?

Yes. Our balancer has a run-flat program that compensates for the stiffer sidewalls. Standard mode under-reads imbalance on run-flats and leaves vibration in the cabin.

How often should I rebalance?

Every new tyre fit, every rotation, after a kerb hit or pothole, and roughly every 10,000 miles as routine. Also any time a vibration returns at speed.

How long does balancing take?

Balancing or alignment?

Balancing evens out the weight around each wheel to stop vibration at speed. Alignment sets the wheels to the correct angles so the car tracks straight. They are different jobs with different tooling.

Do EV wheels need special balancing?

Will weights mark my alloys?

No. We fit lead-free zinc stick-on strips inside the alloy barrel, invisible from the outside. We never fit visible hammer-on weights to the outer rim of an alloy.

How much does TPMS replacement cost?

We quote a fixed price per sensor fitted and programmed on your driveway, with a set price for a full four-sensor set, confirmed on the call. How long does it take?

Around twenty minutes per sensor, including dismount, replace, programme, relearn and a verification check. A full set of four finishes in 60 to 80 minutes on your driveway, with the warning light confirmed clear before we leave. Book A Slot

Will the TPMS light fail my MOT?

Yes. Since January 2015 the MOT fails any direct-TPMS car with the warning light on at test. Fix it before the test or the car will not pass. We dispatch same day where capacity allows, so it clears in time.

New sensor or just a reset?

If pressures are correct and the light stays on after a reset, the sensor is faulty or its battery has ended. If a reset cleared it, the cause was low pressure. Our symptom checker on this page narrows it in about twenty seconds.

Can you programme on my driveway?

Yes. Every van carries an Autel MaxiTPMS or Schrader programming tool. We programme universal sensors to your VIN and run the OBD relearn, or fit OEM where the protocol requires it. The light clears before we leave.

How long do TPMS sensors last?

All four sensors or just one?

Just the failed one if the other three still read correctly, which we confirm with the programming tool. If the others are near end of life as well, we quote the full set up front so you avoid a second visit.

Universal sensors or OEM?

Universal programmable covers around 90 percent of UK cars under ten years old. OEM is needed for certain BMW G-series, newer Mercedes, Range Rover and most Tesla Model 3, Y and S. We identify the exact match by VIN.

What is the TPMS service kit?

The service kit is the grommet, seal and nut around the sensor valve, a low-cost consumable set per wheel. Skipping it is the top cause of a slow leak weeks later, so we fit a fresh kit on every tyre change.

Can you clone winter wheel sensors?

Does my EV need special sensors?
